Summer?

Contrary to what I thought, that getting an Ipad to also keep up to date with the blog, it seems that these updates have certainly not been kept up to date!
So... here's what's been happening...

The summer has finally arrived.... well, as far as to say it's July! but the sunny skies we had in May have never really materialised.

Tristan has enjoyed playing at both his Grandparents’ houses, alongside his cousins and learning some gardening tips from Papa!

Looking at Ladybirds with Papa

In April it was Chris’ birthday so we went for the day to Benone Strand and the Giant’s causeway which Tristan thoroughly enjoyed – even getting soaked in the sea! He was determined to climb as many of the Causeway Columns as possible and even walked a distance up the final hill back to the carpark.

In May we had a lovely few weeks of sunshine, so he certainly enjoyed the water flower at his Nanny Granny and Papa’s house.

Waiting for the olympic torch
The Olympic torch made its way to Northern Ireland, so we all managed to see it early on a Sunday morning – in the very cold weather! A very surreal moment to see something so historic very close to where we were standing and that you are used to seeing during the past month on the television.
Tristan has been enjoying the outdoors regardless of the weather and has a new pair of wellies to try to keep on whilst running through the puddles! – not during the floods that hit parts of Belfast and Lisburn in the past few weeks – luckily the water stayed out of the house!

Watching the tennis
Wimbledon has been on the tv and yesterday, Tristan had a lovely relaxing lunch whilst watching the Ladies match. It must have been tiring work as he slept for a couple of hours after!

Chris and I are beginning to juggle working hours around Tristan… with Chris now working shifts again rather than a 5:30pm finish. Thankfully we have a lot of helping hands otherwise we’d be stuck!

If you're happy and you know it!
We’re on holiday to various parts of England during August and want to try to meet up with family and friends. It’s a two week road trip which will hopefully be relaxing for us all.
