Copa....Copacabana....la, la, la lala lala something something everywhere.....

I've had that song (or bits of it) stuck in my head for the past 3 days. It didn't help when we took a walk along the infamous Copacabana Beech today. Very long, very clean and very wet. It is spring time in Brazil and the weather is about 25 celcius, day and night and currently with lots of rain. Very like home but a lot hotter. The Sun will hopefully come out tomorrow (Tuesday) as we want to go up Corcovado to see O Cristo Redentor (Christ the redeemer - The big statue of Jesus with his arms out.) We could only see it a few times today when the mist lifted so decided to leave it hoping tomorrow is better. It was a good day for walking the beaches and sorting ourselves out. (yes Mummy Bracken I have now clean underwear - No Mummy Boyd your daughter did not have to wash them). Still have to sort out the website, when we do, It will be posted here.

Hi Guys... or should I say travellers, not too many driveways to fix in Rio I'd reckon...
Any chance of some nice scenery photo's (no offence but, do you have to have Chris in all the photo's, is it to save you having to put a copyright symbol on them) Anyway, have a fantastic time...
I'm sure I've have more to moan about later...

Reply to anonymous one who just wants pictures of scenery and not reams and reams of "rambling on" ...........
Here's a wee tip back- Plenty of picture books at the library.
Also you're not quite getting with the title of the blog now are you? So whilst you're at the library have a wee look at a dictionary as well- one that doesn't have too many pictures in it.
;-) tongue in cheek!

Thanks Lesley, what are big sister for if not to barate anonymous commentors. Hope to have more scenic photos to come. Realistically, we're not keeping our heads stuck in the PC and high speed broadband hasn't reached all of Brazil yet !
